Thorough Dustless Blasting Method

 

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how happy I am with the work that your facility did for my 57 Thunderbird restoration project using your Dustless blaster.

 

One Sunday while watching Velocity TV, I saw an advertisement for Dustless blasting. This system looked on the TV advertisement as if it was too good to be true. This advertisement was claiming that this product not only decreased the dust from blasting but also the potential for warping the steel while removing the old paint. My 57 Thunderbird has been in my family for almost sixty years, and it means the world to me, and I only want the best people and products involved in this restoration. That same day while researching the Dustless Blasting systems on the internet, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Mountaintop Powder Coating out of Bellefonte had one of these systems. Monday morning, I called and spoke with Scott Bookmiller, the owner of Mountaintop Powder Coating. Scott and I discussed the project in length and made the appointment for my 57 T-birds body to come to his facility to have the sixty-year-old paint and primer removed. A few weeks later, I received the call from Scott that my old bird was down to bare steel and ready to be picked up. Due to the additive in the water, the fresh uncoated steel would not start oxidizing up to and exceeding 72 hours. The next day, I went to pick up the car, the car looked great. The old paint was gone, the car was clean, and the steel looked brand new. The car was ready for the body shop. Scott treats his customers very friendly and makes them feel comfortable with the entire process. I know I will be back for more work in the future whether it be Dustless blasting or powder coating. Mountaintop Powder Coating did a spectacular job, and I would highly recommend using them for anyone looking to have paint and old body filler removed from anything that they might want to restore."
