Sandblasting uses sand and air to remove rust, dirt, peeling chrome, old paint, etc. from the vehicle's surface. This process generates heat and friction but doesn't damage the metal.
We don't cut corners with our process: our technicians blast the frame, loosening up all the oils, grease, rust, and old chrome and crud embedded in the metal. We then place the metal inside an oven at 200 degrees - then blast and bake it again. You're left with a surface that's ready for the next step, protective powder coating in the color you choose.
